Life in 24 Hours is a video game that I created by myself at Concordia University in the fall of 2017. The goal of the project was to create a piece of media that subverted the “quantified-self” movement, and to try and express the significance of the relationships I have with my online friends. I imagined a dystopian scenario in which the denizen of a digital cityscape must sleep and walk a certain amount each day lest they be deleted, all the while their online friend discusses their worries and troubles with them through an invasive messaging app.
